This is the text of an actual proposed bill in the Virginia General Assembly. (Here is the official link to the bill on the GA website.) It’s still in committee and hopefully won’t go any farther, but think of the implications if it somehow becomes law. The victim of a domestic violence attack could be convicted of a felony because they “allowed” their child to witness them being assaulted.
